The divinatory flowers of Osvaldo Menegazzi
From the earliest times man has realized that his existence is not something momentary and ended in itself, but has a definite meaning and a total connection with the infinity of the universe. The sensitive man through the philosophical / esoteric evolution of the millennia has continually asked himself the three questions to which he has tried and still tries to find an answer: Who are we, where do we come from and where are we going? The continuing longing for knowledge takes the equilibrium of past and present as its points of reference to understand what our future will be.
Osvaldo Menegazzi, who is not devoid of these qualities, has used his artistic ability to give a new message to the searcher, using the 22 Arcani of the Tarot, and showing them in a simplified and more modern version, appropriate to the man of the future.
The artist shows us, with these divinatory flowers, that the alternating positive and negative phases in our lives have no importance, but admiring these flowers and absorbing the beauty and harmony of their forms is enough to give us important moments of reflection within ourselves.
They gradually lead us to free ourselves inwardly from the forces that oppress us. Only on this condition can man obtained the much desired balance, freeing himself from slavery to which the Wheel of Fortune subjects him.
The reward for so much effort consists of entering into harmony with the laws of the universe and making man the author and guide of his own destiny.
These flowers, suspend in a void, give us a sense of infinity and encourage us to begin again the dialogue with nature within which is enclosed the seed which man has always desperately searched for and which is called HAPPINESS.
For those who know and for those who have understood, all other words would be superfluous. For those who have not yet attained the inner state to which they aspire, there is only one possible suggestion: Inner meditation upon each symbol (flower) until they have discovered its meaning.
